Time & Talent

Everyone possesses a talent.  It may be the obvious in music, leading a worship service, cooking, sewing, teaching, but some talents are much quieter.  There are many places our congregation would appreciate your specific talents and any time you wish to share with us. 

  • Teach Sunday School
  • Be a Mentor
  • Help with Luther League
  • Be a Reader for Sunday Service
  • Be a Cantor for Sunday Service
  • Be an Usher
  • Wash dishes at the Lutefisk Dinner
  • Wait tables at the Lutefisk Dinner
  • Cut quilt blocks
  • Sew quilts
  • Make sandwiches or bars for a funeral
  • Help serve a funeral
  • Fix something around the church
  • Donate money for a special project
  • Visit someone from the congregation who needs it
  • Come to celebrate with the new Confirmands
  • Start a choir
  • Lead a Bible Study
  • Help with a special cleaning project
  • Serve coffee on Sunday Morning
  • Serve on the Church Council
  • Video the Sunday Service
  • Be an Acolyte
  • Keep the history of the church updated

For Our Youth

There are many opportunities to be a part of Scobey Lutheran.  Your family does not need to be a member of the church to participate in these activities.
